Dr. Olson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin's School of Medicine and holds a Master's in Biology from the University of Arizona. Her areas of interest and expertise are women's issues throughout the life cycle. In working with women she is skilled in treating depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, and body dysmorphic disorder.
Dr. Olson also has a significant understanding of the impact of hormonal changes during a woman's life transitions whether it is from postpartum, perimenopausal, or premenstrual dysphoric disorder. Additionally, in her professional career, Dr. Olson has served on physician advisory boards, taught and supervised Family Practice Residents has been the Medical Director of inpatient, outpatient, and partial Day Treatment programs, has worked with impaired professionals and has written published papers.
